Business Development Sales Manager, TP-Link
Michele Lavaia gained over ten years of experience in the IT sector: his training began with the technical role of network and security specialist, to become, in 2003, Sales Account at a distributor of networking and backup storage products, related to the Apple brand. In January 2005 he joined Sidin Spa (now Exclusive Networks) first as Brand Manager of all the brands of the Network Security Business Unit, then dedicating himself exclusively to the Fortinet brand. In Fortinet he managed commercial and marketing activities, aimed at developing the Italian market and of the Channel Partner Program, including the management of price lists, promotions, margins, special quotation, the planning and issue of purchases with related stock analysis and management, the creation of the marketing plan, including communication activities, organization of sector events and training courses. In 2010 he took another step for his career within the distributor, becoming Senior Account Manager for the Northern Italy area.
In 2011 he transferred to networking and security field, ZyXEL, where it played the role of Channel Manager for Italy, concentrating its activities on distributors and resellers partners. In June 2015 he began his adventure in TP-Link as Business Development Sales Manager at the helm of the new unit dedicated to the development of the professional market and business solutions.
