Director of Institutional Relations and Study Department of the Touring Club Italiano. Graduated in 1995 in Political Science at the University of Pavia, he completed a Masters in economics and management of tourism at the Ciset in Venice in 1997. He has participated in numerous projects in the tourism and cultural heritage sector in Italy and abroad: among these the plan for the Great Jubilee of 2000, the global grant "I Parchi Letterari" and some research and development programs of the EU Commission in the field of sustainable tourism. Other experiences have been gained with the World Bank and with FAO for the tourism development of two areas of Vietnam. Reviewer, in 2011, of the OECD study on tourism in Italy. He was a member in 2015 of the TDlab, the Mibact ministerial committee for the digitalization of tourism.
