Giacomo is an expert in tourism and restaurants, with over twenty years’ experience in the field. He is a consultant for numerous accommodation facilities, public establishments, start-ups and national and international hotel chains in the areas of strategy and marketing. He has provided over 15,000 hours of classroom training, works all over Italy, and partners companies, universities and professional educational institutes, including Alma and Cast Alimenti.
He is the author of various professional texts, including “Il nuovo marketing del prodotto turistico” [The new marketing of the tourism product] and “Il marketing territoriale dell’Italia che non ti aspetti” [The regional marketing in Italy you did not expect] published by Franco Angeli, “Il marketing del Bed&Breakfast” [The marketing of Bed&Breakfasts] published by Agra Edizioni, “L’arte del breakfast” [The art of breakfast] published by Eurografiche, “Il servizio d’eccellenza per gli operatori del fuoricasa” [Excellence in service for operators away from home] published by Seac Editore, as well as two audiovisual series for remote training “In & Out consigli per la ristorazione” [In & out advice for catering] and “Management dei Pubblici Esercizi” [Management of public establishments]. He writes the “Hotel Hub” management column on Italian Tourism, the official publication of Federalberghi Italia, and writes about the food & beverage and hospitality sectors on Sharing Tourism.
