  • Marina Pizzorni Tourism and business development Manager at FAI – The National Trust for Italy

FAI is a non-profit foundation founded in 1975, on the model of the National Trust, with the aim of protecting and enhancing the Italian historical, artistic and landscape heritage. It has always been concerned not only with places, but also with how people experience them. There are more than 30 FAI properties open to the public. Villas, castles, abbeys, but also woods, orange groves, agricultural areas and reserves. The recovery and conservation of our heritage can lead to a new way of experiencing tourism and a new awareness in the visitor. During the meeting, we will talk about these two difficult years and the response we have had from our visitors and the changes that have taken place. A positive response, full of enthusiasm, trust and desire to know.
