From the "end of tourism" announced by Wonderful Copenhagen to the first strategies dedicated to building a destination-friendly visitor economy such as those launched by Flanders and Vienna; from the world's most liveable cities according to Monocle to marketing aimed at the citizens of Helsinki, this talk will look at how building more welcoming regions has a positive influence on tourism, attracting new, more aware visitors who wish to have a positive impact. This is the case with Brindisi, a city transforming itself on a daily basis through local development and the creation of shared Beauty, to improve itself and attract new visitors, focusing on the sea and remote working: sea working, offices with sea views and “Sea work & life balance” experiences to improve productivity and the life of “temporary residents”.

By going beyond simple and traditional destination promotion, the new Bauhaus aims to build better regions, more liveable, sustainable and inclusive, in line with EU guidelines, for widespread beauty that benefits everyone.
