The Italy Digital Destination Award, the highest recognition for Italian tourism destinations on the national scene, is back for a new edition. This year, the IDD Award has been transformed, thanks to the partnership with TWOW, a digital agency specializing in performance-oriented, data-driven projects.As every year, the Italy Digital Destination Award will be accompanied by the presentation of the “All Italian Data” Report results. Thanks to its proprietary algorithm and its artificial intelligence, Data Appeal has collected and analyzed 390 thousand points of interest, 16 million pieces of online feedback and 90 million accommodation offers on OTAs across Italy to reward the regions and tourism destinations that have earned the best reputation, the best food and wine offer, which destination and offers are perceived most safe to visitors and much more.This annual award is an important reference point to fully understand Italy’s tourism trends and performance at the international level to better develop effective data-driven growth strategies.
