The future - including that of tourism - will for a long time yet remain in the urban space. Travellers will choose where to spend their holidays based on the story that each individual city will tell about itself. The winners will be those spaces able to build a positive perception, in which physical elements are combined in a balanced way with the services offered and the networks that each individual neighbourhood, each long line of streets, buildings, lights and voices will be able to offer.
Paolo Verri, cultural manager and university lecturer, will talk to TTG about the emblematic metamorphoses of “Nine cities in search of a future”, capable of overcoming crises, implementing innovative strategies and achieving concrete results to promote the wellbeing of their communities without launching major competitions, but rather by working with their stakeholders through a mutual exchange of positive projects and good information.
