Special Projects

CONCEPT:

"Recupero & Relax, Recupero & Rigenerazione" is the Project Concept for the Hotel in Motion exhibition space created by W7.0 (Wellnessettepuntozero) for "Fai la Mossa Giusta", at SIA Hospitality Design, part of InOut the Contract Community.

Art Director, Architect Anna Palucci, confirms that destination hotels with wellness experience offers for recovery and relaxation are increasingly in demand among tourists. Consequently, it is essential that hotels adapt to these demands with services such as wellness suites, wellness centres and fitness areas, which are necessary to ensure a recovery and relaxation experience for increasingly demanding guests.

On the occasion of the 72nd edition of SIA Hospitality Design, Dorelan – the event's exclusive bedding partner – will present not only its two new innovations for the year, i.e. the new Dorelan Hotel logo and the presentation of the new minimalist and flexible stand that interprets the needs of all hoteliers, but also a partnership with high added value.

Dorelan Hotel will be present within Hotel in Motion, the exhibition space for the project concept drawn up by wellness W7.0, the theme of which this year is “recovery & relaxation, recovery & regeneration”. This year, Dorelan is proposing an integrated project: a hotel bedroom concept whose theme of sports recovery is also related to night rest. The Dorelan ReActive mattress will be the centrepiece of this exhibition space, with the bed system as a fundamental element of a hotel room, necessary for guests' wellbeing.

Thanks to its partnership within Hotels in Motion, with Italian Housekeeping Association AIH, Dorelan Hotel will propose three training sessions for hoteliers and professionals on the theme “The bed system as the key to quality sleep: housekeeping for a 5-star bed”, which will be held at 3.00 pm on 11 and 12 October and at 11.00 am on 12 October.

AIH President Margherita Zambuco will be attending the events and will explain the techniques for creating a perfect bed system, not only from a theoretical but also from a practical perspective. These sessions at SIA Hospitality Design will cover various topics: they will present the various types of bed in a hotel room, the various requirements of guests at 5-star luxury hotels, what a perfect bed means, and how to make a bed system from a practical viewpoint without neglecting aesthetics.

During a hotel stay, whether for leisure or business, guests spend most of their time relaxing in their room. This suggests that they want to find in that bed all the emotions and rest that they cannot find at home; they want to enjoy an all-round wellness experience. The bed thus becomes the star of the bedroom: guests must have a real experience just by entering the room, already on a visual level they must find comfort and great beauty." says Margherita Zambuco.

The three events proposed by Dorelan Hotel will therefore cover the key points of what is needed to make a bed system in a hotel: the need for natural and comfortable fabrics, the type of accessories, and the different construction techniques depending on whether the bed is French, Italian, king, twin or Turkish style.
The event with Dorelan Hotel and AIH is therefore not to be missed for those who wish to experience a journey into the world of housekeeping.
